Gary R. Cowan is Vice President, Shareholder and Director in the firm. He has been with the firm since 1992.
Mr. Cowan's trial practice emphasizes the defense of personal injury and
automobile negligence lawsuits, malpractice claims, products liability actions
and commercial litigation. In addition to his work as a trial attorney,
Mr. Cowan has acted as arbitrator in a number of personal injury matters.
Education: After earning a B.A. in Business Administration from Brigham Young University in 1964, Mr. Cowan received his Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming in 1969.
Mr. Cowan has served as an instructor for the El Paso County Trial
Advocacy Course. In addition, he has been a member of the Magistrate
Selection Committee for the United States District Court for the District of
Colorado, served as the President of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and
worked as Special Prosecutor in the Mesa County District Attorney's Office.
